Actually, I found Miriam quite a while ago. Miriam Haskell. An American designer of affordable costume jewelry from the 1920's through 1960's. You can still find her pieces, but they aren't quite as affordable today. However, every once in awhile, I find bits and pieces that I just covet.
But I've learned to share. So I have re-purposed some very special Miriam Haskell beads into these ever so beautiful hand-knotted earrings. They're opulent and dimply. Not perfectly round, or balanced. Just classic, lightweight, every day color.
About 3/4" from the bottom of the hook. Sterling silver findings. Ear backs included.
